How to fold and store my kayak?

Deflate the kayak fully for storage. Consider using a pump in ‘deflate’ mode to remove air. Leave valves open to vent trapped air during folding.

Lay out in a dry area until the outer material is fully dry - this is particular important for fabric covered kayaks.

Once fully dry, fold both sides of kayak inward lengthwise so that they meet in the middle, then flat roll from front to back (towards the valves). Remove seats and footrests from hull for tighter packing. Place and store in original storage bag.

If the temperature is below -4 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees Celsius) do not fold kayak or the kayak may crease and crack.
